Brisbane Strikers Squad Profiles: 9 Chris Di Sipio

May 30, 2012 by

Now into his fifth successive season in the QSL, midfielder/forward Chris Di Sipio is one of the longest-serving Brisbane Strikers and is still just 26 years old. A player whose energy levels make him a constant danger to the opposition, Di Sipio’s most effective position is probably playing just behind the front men but he is also capable, despite his lack of size, of filling in as a front man when needed and has a handy goal scoring record. Di Sipio is quick across the ground, strong in the tackle and, when playing at his best, has a knack of setting up goal scoring opportunities for his team mates with one-touch passes. Now a member of the team’s leadership group, Di Sipio’s experience and will-to-win are important ingredients in the Brisbane Strikers’ campaign this season.
