Brisbane Strikers Squad Profiles: 19 Jack Boxell

Sep 24, 2012 by

Having played for the QAS in 2010 and the Gold Coast Stars in 2011, Jack Boxell already boasted two seasons of QSL experience prior to joining the Brisbane Strikers this year with a view to pushing on towards an A-League career. A good left-sided athlete with a handy turn of pace and a willing and aggressive attitude, Boxell has slotted in well to the left back spot vacated last year by Brad McDonald and has combined well this season with winger Greg King. Diligent in his defensive duties and strong in the tackle, Boxell is also willing on the overlap and seldom gives opponents a moment’s peace.
